Well that was a whirlwind and a half. We started at the Coliseum and the Roman Forum… Took a 30 minute ride to catch a glimpse of Cardinal Dolan at his last public Mass before heading into the Conclave. That was a crazy media thing. Reporters from NYC were all over the place. Me and several pilgrims (being the only Americans other than reporters outside this packed remote Church) were interviewed. (I know, I know, the picture looks like “what’s up with that).
(Pic 2) Fortunately Lino got to shake his hand one last time before the conclave
After that we had an amazing meal at Cecilia Metella. (And spotted another Cardinal eating with his family and friends… That was crazy)
Raced from there to the Catacombs for a tour and a very memorable, moving Mass in such a sacred place. we came home and before we knew it it was time for another 3 hour meal…
Such an exciting time to be in such a exciting place to begin with. better rest up to get ready for another crazy day tomorrow…
God Bless & Buonanotte
When I saw the picture of you being interviewed, the very first thing I thought was "What's up with that?"
You are so blessed to be there now! God continue to bless you, Fr. Jim!
